Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Primary role focus of the Senior Buyer is to provide cross-functional category expertise for all function procuring Professional Services (Consulting, Financial Services, X-Functional Services, Translation, Audit Services, Document Management Services, Legal Services (Intellectual Property)), to proactively carry out continuous analyses, frequently re-align the local & headquarter activities with the global category strategy of Professional Services as well as support the strategy execution in Professional Services
  • Leads sourcing plan implementation in Professional Services in all countries, headquarters and global capability centers through change planning, negotiation, contract development, etc.
  • Actively contribute to the identification of business critical opportunities resulting in process improvement, savings generation.
  • Maintain strong communication with category, countries, sites and business functions. Responsible for the communication / distribution of any regional-specific strategies to the relevant stakeholders (region and country) together with site and/or country business partners.
  • Contracts check against defined procedures (e.g. amendments stored correctly).
  • Collect supplier, market, category and internal business data.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Category to ensure transparency and consistency on spend and savings data.
  • Contribute to cost-effectiveness of commercial deals, risk management of supply base and ensuring that company standards are appropriately applied.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • English: fluent spoken and written
  • University/Advanced level degree needed. Master’s Degree/other advanced degree in the Economics, Finance or related areas is preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a global environment in a similar position.
  • Good understanding of Procurement business processes such as Tactical Buying, Catalogue Management, Contract Management, Supplier Setup and Procurement Operations.
  • Excellent communication, people management, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
