Role purpose and summary
This position will include multiple areas across the organization from Passenger Processing, Baggage Management as well as Operations at Airports with highly varied work, day to day. You will help us to maintain our leading presence through various projects that could include internal and external initiatives – in line with company goals and objectives. You’ll work in a general communications role helping identify projects and initiatives that will help support SITA at Airports as being the cornerstone of the SITA wider portfolios.
The role offers constant opportunities to take responsibility for, and be involved in, a wide range of projects. You’ll get the opportunity to build your skills and collaborate with a highly skilled international team from across a variety of business areas and given the opportunity to really help drive the Business unit forwards.
Key responsibilities
The Portfolio Marketing Graduate will be responsible for assisting with work across multiple channels, working alongside a number of different individuals with varied roles around the organization. These could include Portfolio Heads, Product Management and SSTs as well as other colleagues in Portfolio Marketing and the wider Corporate Communications Team. You will work closely with the Business Partner Airports on a day-to-day basis, with support when needed. Time will be spent shadowing, learning, developing and delivering work as part of the team.
You will:
- Coordinate, manage and assist with Portfolio Marketing projects, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Demonstrate sound project management techniques to ensure schedules and stakeholder expectations are met.
- Work effectively and professionally with our internal customers (Portfolio Heads, Product Management, Portfolio Solution Engineers) to deliver their requirements effectively and on time.
- Be a self-starter – this is a role to make your own and new ideas and input are always welcomed!
- Ensure output is accurate, brand compliant and delivered to the highest possible standards on behalf of SITA – attention to detail is important.
- Where required to keep the HUB/ Sharepoint up to date with the latest content
- Be part of the weekly team meeting to help prioritise workloads and deadlines.
- Report to the Business Partner with regular updates on progress and maintain administrative elements within the team.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with external partners as required.
Qualifications
Role requirements
MUST HAVE
Ideally a degree-level professional qualification relevant to marketing, or another degree then demonstrable experience in the domain.- Competent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience of managing projects, university projects or personal interests.
- A can-do attitude with an open mind to work with other international colleagues.
OTHER IDEAL SKILLS
- An interest in travel / transport and tech is desirable.
