This is the number of Novartis Biotech manufacturing facilities worldwide for which you will take the responsibility to identify and contact new customers for contract manufacturing business in Global Biotech Cooperations.
Your key responsibilities:

- Implementation of defined Global Biotech Cooperation marketing strategy, e.g. advertising, internet platforms, fairs, road shows
- Organize, attend, and support participation in business conferences, meetings and industry events and attendance in partnering sessions to receive business options
- Lead and perform feasibility evaluations of business options (new projects)
- Manage and prepare non-binding offers and proposals for customers in alignment with overall defined strategy
- Contact potential clients to establish rapport, arranges meetings and coordinates customer base
- Track and identify new markets, emerging trends and recommends services (market intelligence and competitive intelligence)

Essential:
- University degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or equivalent and MBA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred in biologics industry or BD&L roles)
- Minimum 3 years' work experience in a contract development and manufacturing or contract manufacturing organization or equivalent
- Proficient English (and German, Slovenian or French preferred)
- Proven expert in global project management
